Who are we?
We are Zack, Jocelyn, baby Zoey, baby Simko, Rachel, and Elliott,
We live together in a 3-bedroom house in a fairly-urban suburb of Philadelphia.
Our story is one of intentionality, of sharing, of mentoring, of loving, of relationship-building and prayer and worship. We have seen God's hand moving in our small community from before we moved in, and we pray that the Lord will be able to use us to His glory-- in whatever way He sees fit!
"They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common. They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved."
"Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates."
